Small changes, stronger security

We’ve made a few updates to strengthen security across our online services, including improved multi-factor authentication (MFA). We’ve also implemented Confirmation of Payee to help ensure payments are sent to the intended recipient, along with in-app payment review steps so you can check and confirm transactions details before completing a payment.

Multi Factor Authentication

We have made improvements to how we protect your Online Banking, while also making your experience smoother and more convenient.

What’s changed?

Instead of asking you to verify your identity every time you log in, we’ll now only ask when its needed for extra security.

Confirmation of Payee

Confirmation of payee is a service that helps check whether the account name and account number you’ve entered match the account you’re paying. It gives you more confidence that you’re paying the right person, or business to help reduce the risk of payment mistakes and scams.

Important: Confirmation of Payee is an extra check only. It does not guarantee a payment is safe, so you should always take a moment to check the details and make sure you trust who you’re paying.
