Online Services Update

Notice to members: Disruption to Online services
On Monday 22 June, First Credit Union experienced disruption to its Online Banking services (Internet and Mobile Banking) as well as some in-branch services. This was due to a hardware upgrade that did not go to plan during scheduled maintenance carried out on Sunday.
As a result, members were unable to fully access Internet and Mobile Banking services. Our team worked closely with external partners to resolve the issue, and we are pleased to confirm that all Online Banking services were fully restored by 11:30pm.
An unintended consequence of this outage was a delay in processing some inward payments. This issue was resolved by 9.30pm on Monday evening.
What we’re doing:
  • Our call centre team is actively reaching out to members who require further assistance
  • We will be refunding all debit card fees incurred on Monday 22 June 2026, including all Eftpos and ATM fees charged overnight
  • A full investigation into the incident is now underway
We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused and understand the frustration that such disruptions cause.
If you have any further issues, please do not hesitate to get in touch with our team.
Thank you for continuing to choose First Credit Union.
