Applying for a personal* or home loan** just got better- we’ve removed the application fees on personal and home loans which could save you hundreds!

*Normal lending criteria apply and T&Cs apply. Normal floating rates range from 10.95% p.a. variable to a maximum of 18.00% p.a. variable. Minimum loan term 3 months. Maximum loan term 7 years. No application fee and no early repayment penalties. Third-party fees of up to $29.90 per applicant may apply.

What next?

Over the next few weeks we will start to rebrand Credit Union Auckland to First Credit Union. Credit Union Auckland will be known as First Credit Union, this will be reflected in how we serve you, how we answer the phone, documents and you now have a much larger team working for you to help you achieve your financial goals.

You can now login to your internet banking from the home page of the First Credit Union’s website. You’ll now find a button to login for Credit Union Auckland members on our homepage (click on the padlock on the top right hand side).

Effective immediately we have removed all loan application fees, and personal loan, home loan and term deposit rates have been aligned with First Credit Union's.

Over the coming months we will work on aligning all the rates and fees to First Credit Union's, until then please click here for the list of rates and fees that will apply to your account.

  • At this stage, nothing. Everything about your membership with Credit Union Auckland remains the same. We will be in touch to advise when we will move you across to the First Credit Union system.

  • Yes. We have added a new internet banking log in button to the homepage of our website for Credit Union Auckland members. Simply click on the button and log in as you normally would.

  • If you have a personal loan with Credit Union Auckland, everything about your loan, including your interest rate, repayment amount and repayment frequency will remain the same.

  • Yes, over the next few weeks you will see the Penrose branch rebranded to First Credit Union. Your local team will be able to keep you up to date with our plans as we progress.
