How it works

  1. Download the app from the Google Play or Apple App Store.
  2. Enter your member number and Internet Banking password.
  3. Set a 4 digit pin number or enable biometrics i.e. fingerprint or facial recognition
  4. Then start managing your money on the go - it’s as easy as that!

  • Instant Access: You can start using it online as soon as you have ordered a card from us
  • It's all on your phone: You can see your full card number and controls on your Mobile Banking App (click on the services icon down the bottom of the app to manage your card)
  • Dynamic CVV- Your digital card comes with a dynamic CVV that changes every 24 hours- another way we're keeping you safe online

  • You can download and use it on any smartphone- Android or iPhone and on Android tablets and Apple iPads (you'll need an iPhone or iPad version iOS 15.0 or Android device with version 9.0 or later). Basically as long as you have internet access on your mobile device, and a compatible operating system you can use our Mobile Banking App.

  • The First Credit Union Mobile Banking App uses high quality industry security encryption to help keep your personal details safe.

    For added security, our Mobile Banking App locks you out after three attempts if you repeatedly try to log in with the wrong PIN and will time-out if the app is left running for more than two minutes with no activity. Don't worry if you have forgotten your pin- you can log in again using your Internet Banking login details.

  • Daily limits vary by member. New accounts opened from 1 June 2025 have a daily limit of NZD 2,000.
