COVID Updates 2021
Alert Level 2
From 11.59pm Tuesday 07 September our region's (Waikato and Bay of Plenty) move to Alert Level 2.
As you will already be aware, Alert Level 2 looks a bit different this time around.
Our Branches will remain closed for the remainder of this week to allow us time to get ready to safely welcome our members again.
From Monday 13 September, all our Branches will open from 10am to 2pm.
Please take note of what Alert Level 2 looks like at First Credit Union:
- You MUST wear a mask before entering our branch (unless you have a medical exemption) and sign in using our NZ COVID Tracer QR Code or manually onsite.
- We will be limiting the number of members inside the branch and maintaining a register of those who visit the branch.
- There will be a concierge at each branch that is there to help, please follow their instructions at all times.
- It is important you maintain social distancing at all times and make use of the hand sanitiser provided.
Please remember that our staff are here to help, please treat them with respect.
Alert Level 3
At 11.59pm on Tuesday 31 August, our regions will be moving to Alert Level 3. All of our branches will remain closed at this level.
We will be using this time to ensure that our branches and staff are ready to safely serve our members again when we get to Alert Level 2.
Please continue to use our 24/7 banking products, or give us a call- we’re still here to help!
Alert Level 4
From 11.59pm on Tuesday 17th August New Zealand moves to Alert Level 4.
At this level all New Zealanders are tasked with playing their part to eliminate transmission of COVID-19 and are instructed to stay home.
To ensure the health and safety of our staff, members and the communities we serve we will be closing our branches to foot traffic.
The team at First Credit Union are committed to ensuring that our members are still able to operate their accounts, however, we will be doing this online via our 24/7 banking products such as mobile, phone and internet banking and with a team of local call centre staff.
If you have a debit card you will be able to use your card to access cash from an ATM or you can withdraw cash at the time of doing an EFTPOS transaction.
If you DON'T have a debit card, give us a call, and one of our call centre officers will be able to help you.
First Credit Union has a range of products and services available that will give you 24/7 access to your account. To sign up for these services email us at email@example.com
To stay up to date with what First Credit Union is doing during this time make sure you are following us on Facebook.
We are still able to accept loan applications, however, this will be done online as our branches will be closed.
