Election of Officers**
Appointment of Auditors
First Credit Union is moving towards incorporation as permitted under the Friendly Societies and Credit Unions (Regulatory Improvements) Amendment Act 2018. First Credit Union intends to apply for incorporation by the 30th of September 2019 and to be incorporated from 1 January 2020.
The proposed changes to the Rules are specifically related to the incorporation of the Credit Union and are to be voted on at the Credit Union’s AGM on the 25th of September 2019.
At the AGM you can vote on the proposed changes to our existing Rules.
The formal resolutions proposed for the Meeting are as follows:
- That the members approve the proposed replacement Rules of First Credit Union as submitted to the meeting and summarised in the Explanatory Notes.
- That the members approve the application for incorporation of First Credit Union, and authorise the board of First Credit Union to take all action necessary or desirable to proceed with incorporation.
The proposed changes to the existing Rules and subsequent explanatory notes are attached “Proposed Rules Changes” and the “Explanatory Notes”
**Two Directors are required for a three year term. John Harvey and Rob Pascoe offer themselves for re-election and have been nominated by the Nominating Committee for the Board vacancies.
