School Banking

We have around 100 schools participating in our school banking programme throughout Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Whakatane and Taupo. Our school banking officers visit each school once a week to pick up deposits.

Children participating in the programme have an account that has an awesome interest rate. It’s a great option for their first savings account and has ZERO account fees.

If your school is participating, application packs are available at the school’s main office.

Throughout our organisation we are committed to doing our part to help reduce our carbon footprint and keep our environment green!

We want to give our schools the opportunity to teach students about sustainability through student-led projects. Our School Sustainability fund does just that! Nothing is too big or small, as long as the project directly enhances and benefits the environment.

So who's eligible?

Schools that participate in our School Banking Programme can apply to the fund. Proposals designed to generate personal, commercial profit or compensate individuals are not eligible for funding.

What type of projects can be funded?

We will consider any project! Nothing is too big or small, it could be something as simple as needing $100 to get some more recycling bins for your school. Projects we have granted money for in the past include composting bins, school vegetable gardens and worm farms.
