What you're covered for in a nutshell
- Accidental damage
- If your vehicle is able to be repaired and costs less than the value of the vehicle then it will be repaired to the same condition prior to the damage.
- If your vehicle is written off (costs more than or close to the value of the vehicle to repair) then its market value will be paid to you. (If your vehicle is being used as security for a loan, the payout will be credited directly to your loan).
- Theft and vandalism
- The costs involved with the recovery and transportation of your vehicle to you or the repairer.
- Legal liability protection for damage caused by your vehicle to someone else’s vehicle or property up to the value of $5,000,000.00, and up to $1,000,000.00 for bodily injury.
- Accidental death cover – if you die as a result of the car accident, $5,000.00 is paid to your estate.
- Up to $300 cover per year for lost/stolen keys and coded keypads/alarms. (No excess applies).
- Up to $750 cover per year for your trailer.
- Every policy comes with FREE glass cover. (No excess applies)
- You're also covered in the event of fire and natural disasters.
- Cover is based on market value only – not agreed value.

We offer cheaper premiums for:
- Full NZ drivers licence holders
- Alarmed/immobilised cars
- Cars kept in a garage
- Excluding under 25 year olds
- Policies paid annually
- Choosing to have an additional voluntary excess
- Unmodified or non-risky vehicles

- We offer an automatic no claims discount of 35% - but we'll guarantee to match your existing no claims discount from your previous insurer if written confirmation is provided.
- We will insure your partner/spouse at no extra cost even if they are under the age of 25.
- PLUS if our premium isn’t as affordable as you’d hoped, supply us with written confirmation of a lower one and we will match it.*
Premium payment options
Annual or monthly payments are preferred, but weekly or fortnightly payments can be arranged to better suit your budget. The full annual premium can also be added to your First Credit Union loan if we are using the vehicle as security**
Optional 'Add Ons'
^Value of car can not be less than $1000. Total modifications value can not be higher than the market value of the vehicle (unless prior approval is given by the Underwriter).
*The quote must contain substantially the same details as ours in order to be matched fairly.
**Subject to approval and loan instalments may need to be increased so the original loan duration is not extended.
