Putting Your Environment First
We do our part to help keep our world beautiful.
We have a sustainability policy in place that staff members follow. By doing small things such as recycling paper, plastics and glass and turning our computers off at the end of each day, we are helping to reduce our footprint on the environment.
Alongside our school banking programme we run a School Sustainability Fund*. Schools can apply for funding for environmental projects, for something as small as recycling bins for the playground, or as big as timber needed to make a huge compost bin, we will help!
We support Waiwhakareke Natural Heritage Park in Hamilton, and celebrated Arbor Day 2011 by joining 3000 volunteers and planted 200 trees we had sponsored.
